“THE BIG DRAW”
è il più grande festival internazionale dedicato al disegno
che si svolge ogni anno nel Regno Unito
e coinvolge circa 300.000 persone in oltre un migliaio di eventi

Per la prima volta ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO e FABRIANO
- protagonista della “Mostra Principe” della XXI edizione
della manifestazione fiorentina dedicata al fatto a mano
in programma dal 14 al 17 maggio 2015 -
in collaborazione con il Museo Marino Marini,
presentano questa iniziativa interamente dedicata alla pittura e al disegno,
per trascorrere una giornata speciale
con accompagnamento musicale di giovani violinisti
che si esibiscono tra le siepi e i limoni del giardino all’italiana
realizzato nel Seicento da Gherardo Silvani.

Tutti i partecipanti a “THE BIG DRAW” riceveranno gratuitamente
da Fabriano un cartoncino rigido, un foglio da disegno o acquerello
e una matita, con cui esprimere il proprio estro creativo.

All’interno del Giardino saranno allestite alcune postazioni,
gestite da personale specializzato del Dipartimento Educativo
del Museo Marino Marini, per approfondimenti su tecnica dell’acquerello,
disegno botanico, paesaggistico, di elementi scultorei e architettonici

La storia antica e moderna di Marsiliana, da castello medioevale a fattoria fortificata, fino all’attuale forma che mostra notevoli tracce del passato. Marsiliana è tuttora abitata dai Principi Corsini che tengono in vita le antiche memorie con un piccolo museo sulla vita al castello-fattoria nel passato
